In order for LAP to more effectively engage in the research, collection, conservation, interpretation and exhibition of tangible and intangible heritage items related to the Lithuanian diaspora, online access to our database is made available to researchers and the general public. Through LDDA access to 24 collections, and 156 records in general, related to the Lithuanian Diaspora community in the United States and abroad can be searched online.
Clicking on the link below will bring you to the LDDA database. From here, the tabs at the top of the page can be used to adjust how you search through the collections. Basic Search is the default, and Advance Search allows limiting and specifying searches by Title, Record Type, Scope and Content, Subject, and Creator. Browsing Creators or Subjects will display a list of the collections’ creators or topics relating to the collections respectively. Selecting these options will display the collections containing those subjects and creators.
